    Into That Darkness Peering

    I was invited to write a literary essay in the catalog for “Into That Darkness Peering,” an art exhibit at the Poe Museum in Richmond, VA. The show features the work of contemporary painters, all of whom peer into the darkness of Edgar Allan Poe in their work. The paintings are stunning and haunting, and I am honored to be included in this incredible exhibit alongside such superb artists as Anelecia Hannah, Richard Thomas Scott, Melinda Borysevicz, Brian Busch, Chris Semtner, Charles Philip Brooks, Christine Sajecki, Jude Harzer, Thony Aiuppy, and Adrienne Stein.
